During a time of conflict in 1992, Slavik Cholak fled with his parents to the United States as refugees. Settling into the Upstate of South Carolina, Slavik began a new life of freedom. Slavik started working in home construction at an early age and quickly became proficient at the ins and outs of building a home.

In 2013, Slavik, seeing a need for homebuilders in the Upstate, decided to branch out and start his own company. When he started Adrian B. Homes, he saw there were national homebuilders, who were building high-end custom homes, but not any local builders who were willing to build quality craftsman style semi-customizable homes in the 170k to 250k price range. Slavik decided building these homes for the everyday man and helping them to achieve the life long dream of owning a home, that it would be a smart business strategy and would help create jobs in the process.

Adrian B. Homes is named after Slavik’s first son, Adrian Becklan Cholak.
